Po-Chien Liu (1990, Taiwan) began studying composition at the Folkwang University of the Arts in Germany in 2017. Po-Chien Liu’s focus is on the aesthetics of sound in Asian thought and the exploration of the interface between noise sound and music. His compositions are marked by a unique combination of traditional Asian sounds with modern composition techniques.
