Perforator creates contemporary electronic music. With an oboe, a joystick and motion sensors, this duo makes visually clear exactly what is happening. They shun preprogrammed electronic sets and demonstrate that the music is being created on the spot. Add to this the element of improvisation and you have a very lively and unique performance variant within contemporary electronic music.
Fluxus, which means ‘fluid’ or ‘constantly changing’, is a series in Club Nine. This series focuses on composers, young ensembles and musicians who together showcase the latest developments in contemporary music. Where possible, the composers will be present and will discuss their own work. The small-scale and informal set-up places the audience in very close contact with the performers.
