Phyllis Chen talks about her work as a toy piano-player, a composer, and a teacher and founder of the UnCaged Festival for toy pianos, which will have its 4th edition this year. Sound artist Ranjit Bhatnagar from New York demonstrates the Robot Toy Piano he invented, which transforms midi-input into toy piano sounds.
Afterwards Chen and Bhatnagar play and discuss works for Robot Toy Piano (with a maximum duration of 30 seconds) together with the people who sent in their compositions with the call for scores.
