Two women makers explore, research, and celebrate female physicality in 40 Ways of Being (a Woman) , an electro-acoustic concert for organ, voice, and electronics. Using storytelling and theatre, and combining early musical instruments with contemporary electronics, these women reflect on how closely physicality is linked to gender and sexuality, while showing historical perspectives on gender and the urgency of moving beyond current binary terms.
