Anyone who wants to know what the landscape of contemporary composed music will look like in 5 or 10 years’ time, comes to Gaudeamus. This certainly applies to this year’s closing night. Young music pioneers explore different directions that classical music practice might take, and master’s students will climb the international stage for the first time. And at the end of the evening, the winner of the Gaudeamus Award 2022 will be chosen – our prestigious incentive prize for young composers.
