Imagine an archaeological site far in the future, long after our society has collapsed, ceramic artifacts are being found. New stories merge from these dormant and lifeless objects, in an attempt to unravel a long-lost history. In this musical theatre performance, the Passepartout Duo of pianist Nicoletta Favari and percussionist Christopher Salvito take on the role of archaeologists from the future. During a residency at the Europees Keramisch Werkcentrum (EKWC) the musicians have developed new ceramic objects, especially for this project, that can generate sound using electronics. Throughout the festival, the newfound stories of these ceramic objects can be seen and heard during a continuous exhibition at Movement Exposed Gallery Space.
