Gaudeamus is 75 years old this year. We celebrate that during the Gaudeamus Music Week, but also in various concerts throughout the country with brand new commissioned works by composers who have a close relationship with Gaudeamus.

Pianist Ralph van Raat plays a program of contemporary music in De Doelen on 4 October in the context of the jubilating Gaudeamus Muziekweek. Karen Tanaka, who won the Gaudeamus Award in 1987, wrote a sequel to her Techno Etudes in a commission by Gaudeamus and De Doelen.
