B.C. Manjunath & New European Ensemble

Indian percussionist B.C. Manjunath knows how to break down even the most complicated rhythms and explain them so that everyone understands them. Playing them, however, is a very different story; only brilliant musicians like Manjunath can do that. And the musicians of the leading New European Ensemble, since they have been working closely with Manjunath this year. In this concert, they will play together a new work by the American-Dutch flautist and composer Ned McGowan, one of the nominees for the Gaudeamus Award in 1999, supplemented with works by the nominees of 2022 Baldwin Giang and Bekah Simms.
