The line-up for this performance has been curated by Elsa van der Linden and Lucas Kloosterboer. Kloosterboer and Van der Linden are part of musician’s collective BUI (‘Bevordering Utrechtse Improvisatie’, or Promotion of Utrecht Improvisation) that gave a concert in KuuB in December 2019. In the past, they also played together as the absurdist duo Kanoenink & Van den Doem. They invited Luc Ex and Annelie Koning. Luc Ex was the bass player for the legendary Dutch punk band The Ex from 1983 to 2002 and has since become a key figure in the free improvisation scene. Annelie is an experimental vocalist. She examines all possible sounds that the voice can make and how she can use them in her performances.
