Marte Boneschansker is artist-in-residence at Het Huis Utrecht, and Aurélie Lierman developed her latest production commissioned by Gaudeamus. The two of them are responsible for a performative installation in the exhibition Senses Working Overtime, a collaboration between Gaudeamus and Het Huis Utrecht.
In this Meet the Artists we ask Boneschansker and Lierman questions about their own development in the context of their residencies with both organizations. How do you integrate into your artistic output disciplinary and interdisciplinary techniques you yourself have not mastered? What role do you assign to others, who do have a command of these techniques, within your artistic principles? Are you an autonomous artist or is the work a joint creation?
Senses Working Overtime can be visited on Friday 7 September and Saturday 8 September from 12.00 to 18.00 h.
