Every month in De Voorkamer (cultural meeting space) on the Kanaalstraat, at the invitation of musician Yankı, two musicians from different cultures meet for the first time and create a unique performance together. During Terrapolis XL, two duos who met each other in this way during Culture Shock will take the stage again. The Syrian percussion virtuoso Modar Salama and the Dutch multi-instrumentalist and improviser Jormt Duyx have performed together several times since their meeting in De Voorkamer in 2020, and will continue their musical dialogue in De Nijverheid (Utrecht’s cultural free port.)
