Since he discovered the analog synthesizers of the Willem Twee Studios – some of which originated from Gaudeamus’s electronic studio in the sixties – sound artist Oscar Peters has been fascinated by audio. For his new piece Breath, he designed and built six of his own pipe organs that allow him to provide the sound of a centuries-old instrument in a new electronic musical context. Together with saxophone player Wietse Voermans, he will start an adventure in sound that will please fans of musicians such as Sarah Davachi and Kali Malone.
