Gaudeamus presents the newest music of the youngest generation of music pioneers and organises activities such as its nationally and internationally valued festival, the Gaudeamus Academy and various concerts and activities with diverse partners. Gaudeamus looks for music pioneers worldwide, offers them a place to develop themselves and provides them with a stage. By doing this it brings the music of tomorrow to curious music lovers.
Become a friend or ambassador.
Gaudeamus Muziekweek stands for the development of skills, innovation, exchange and a personal approach. With the support of private individuals we can continue dedicating ourselves to the latest generation of music pioneers. The thread throughout the festival is the internationally renowned Gaudeamus Award, an incentive prize for composers under age 30. For many talents, such as Michel van der Aa and Yannis Kyriakides, this meant thé start of their career.
You can become a Gaudeamus Friend for only € 45 a year. Becoming a Friend is easy, just fill out the form.
Our Friends are special to us:
- You get an invitation for the official opening of the Gaudeamus Muziekweek.
- Every year you receive a cd with the highlights of Gaudeamus Muziekweek
- There are special activities just for Friends
- You get a discount on concerts ticket and activities by partner organisations.
For € 500 you can become a Gaudeamus Muziekweek ambassador, which means you support the five nominees for the Gaudeamus Award each year. As an ambassador of Gaudeamus Muziekweek you receive (in addition to the Friend benefits):
- A private meet & greet with the nominated composers during the Gaudeamus Muziekweek.
- An invitation for the final concert including the presentation of the Gaudeamus Award.
- Your name in the programme and on the website (optional)
It is also possible to adopt an individual talent, helping them to start a successful (international) career as a budding music pioneer.
For more information on becoming an Ambassador, a multiannual donation and the possibilities of sponsorship, contact Marisa Tempel on +31(0)6 420 453 87 or firstname.lastname@example.org. We love to help you with the various possibilities.
Gaudeamus Muziekweek has been categorised as a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO). For private individuals as well as for companies this means there is a tax benefit because of gift deduction. Apart from that cultural PBO’s do not have to pay gift tax for your donation or heritage tax on any legacies they receive.
Donors of Gaudeamus Muziekweek are allowed to increase taxes with 25%. As an example: if you donate € 1000,- annually, you can increase this amount to 125% (the multiplier). This means the total deduction is € 1250,-. At the highest rate of 52% the tax authorities give € 650 for each € 1000,-. A gift of € 1000,- will therefore cost you the net amount of € 350. With a multiannual donation for five years the donation is completely deductible from your income tax.
Would you rather donate incidentally or give a smaller amount to Gaudeamus Muziekweek? We welcome every gift! Each and every donation, no matter how large or small, is most gratefully received and will go directly towards the young talent programme of Gaudeamus.
