Today we announce the third and final batch of artists performing at Gaudeamus Festival 2025. From 10 to 14 September, we will present more than 45 concerts, interdisciplinary performances, the Gaudeamus Award, workshops, lectures and a seminar at various locations in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
This final release includes the brilliant Indonesian singer and composer Peni Candra Rini, who will close the 80th anniversary of our festival with Rara – Allegories of the Southern Sea, a theatrical production including video and live shadow theater exploring the mythology of East Java. As well as a special Sunday afertnoon programme curated by Stranded FM with Mathilde Nobel, Skander Jaïbi and Laura Kampman, a performance by German composer and pianist Moritz Eggert, spiritual and jazzy soundscapes by Laura Agnusdei and an immersive sound experience in a movie theater by Dyane Donck Company and Orkest De Ereprijs.
