In Memoriam Louis Andriessen
We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of composer Louis Andriessen. Since the early beginning of his career (he won the Gaudeamus Award in 1959), Gaudeamus and Louis had a very warm relationship. Former director Henk Heuvelmans wrote an in Memoriam.

All our plans for Gaudeamus 2021 are becoming more and more concrete. Fortunately we are supported by several funds. This week Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds awarded us a grant of 25,000 euro of which 10,000 euro comes from the Reinbert de Leeuw Fonds.
