Yearly, Nadar Ensemble organizes an international summer school for young composers and sound artists. This year with participants Matthew Grouse, Eveline Vervliet, Nina Fukuoka and Paul Scully.

SMASH.duo
Trumpeter Chloë Abbott and percussionist Moritz Koch have set themselves the mission of revamping the classical concert experience. With music by Sara Zamboni, Jessie Marino, Vicente Atria and Golnaz Shariatzadeh.

Laurence Gaudreau & Audréanne Filion
A performance for two cellos with live electronics, building an emotional, intimate landscape with influences from classical, experimental, ambient and noise.

NADAR Ensemble – Don’t Leave the Room
Four dystopian views of the world come together in this interdisciplinary performance dealing with censorship, post-apocalyptic struggle and (mis)communication. With music by Alexander Khubeev, Golnaz Shariatzadeh en Galina Ustvolskaya and a film by Abbas Kiarostami.

In his new performance and album Power To The People Who Don’t Want It, Azier revisits his own musical compositions through a minimalist approach, morphing synth, sax and his voice into a cinematic piece.

Nyokabi Kariũki & Cello Octet
In her performance Birdsongs from Kĩrĩnyaga in collaboration with the Cello Octet Amsterdam, Kariũki takes voice and field recordings to explore the rich interplay between nature and human heritage.

Nana Adjoa & Cello Octet
Special, new arrangements of her repertoire - old and brand new - with the Cello Octet, which will also perform with Nyokabi Kariũki the same evening.

Kate Moore
For her ongoing project A Beautiful Path, composer Moore walks in stages from the east of the Netherlands to the westernmost point of Ireland. Now will present the premiere of the first completed work she wrote during this project.

Quatuor Bozzini – Composer’s Kitchen
New pieces by Julia Mermelstein, Lucie Nezri, Niko Schroeder and Corie Soumah developed during a residency under the guidance of mentors Zosha Di Castri and Maya Verlaak.
