The live final of the 9th edition of the Tera de Marez Oyens Prize for recently graduated composers will take place during the Gaudeamus Festival 2026. The Tera de Marez Oyens Prize is all about encouraging composing talent that has recently graduated in the Netherlands and bridging the gap between education and professional practice.
All composers who recently graduated in the Netherlands can compete for the prize, regardless of musical genres: pieces with electronics or performance elements are also allowed. Four compositions will be nominated from all submitted works to be played during the Gaudeamus Festival 2026, after which the winner will be chosen and announced live.
The performance is made possible by the SENA Performers.
