In the multidisciplinary performance Nothing Bigger Than Humanity by Resonate Productions, we revisit events that changed recent world history, through the eyes of millennials who witnessed them first-hand as children. An array of personal testimonies of global power dynamics, in which you as an audience member play an essential role, carried by three musicians and a wide variety of voices and perspectives.
Resonate Productions, founded by harpist and musical journalist Andrea Voets, combines in-depth social journalism with many layers of original music, to make performances, podcasts and articles. The podcast Millennial History (turned into a performance for Gaudeamus Festival 2023) was listed in ‘best podcasts of 2022’ by podcaster and radio producer Avery Trufelman. The performance FOR REAL (performed at Gaudeamus Festival 2024) was ‘art doing what art should do’ according to cultural journalist Gaea Schoeters.
