Nicola Privato is an Italian artist and researcher based in Reykjavik, Iceland.
With background is in jazz improvisation, electronic music and linguistics, in his practice Nicola likes to embrace many different disciplines, with a focus on interactive technologies and AI as applied to music.
Currently he is a researcher at the Intelligent Instruments Lab, where he explores through music practice how artificial intelligence is changing the culture and our social interactions, and a PhD candidate in Cultural Studies at the University of Iceland.
