Mári Mákó is a composer, instrument inventor and researcher. For Gaudeamus Festival 2026, she is developing a new instrument for a multichannel speaker setup: a sculptural metal string instrument inspired by the forms and tradition of harp, reimagined through minimal contemporary aesthetics. With an interactive electronic design combined with the acoustical sound of the harp strings, she transforms physical gestures in real time into immersive sonic environments.
