The democratic collective Moving Strings explores the grey area between sound and movement. During Gaudeamus Festival 2023, they will play several concerts as ensemble in residence. This evening features new works that nominees for the Gaudeamus Award 2023 Aya Yoshida and Artun Çekem wrote especially for the festival.
11-Variation by Aya Yoshida explores the theme of influence between composer and performer – who directs whom? Artun Çekem’s “Merge Corp.” is set in a world in which the fusion of multiple bodies and minds is possible.
