Dutch/Portuguese Maat Saxophone Quartet, winners of the Dutch Classical Talent Award 2022, brings a fresh and unique approach to the saxophone quartet genre. So much so that Luister Magazine wrote of their debut CD Ciudades: “promising, devilishly good and heavenly infectious.” For this concert, they put together a programme around the theme of climate change.
Under the title No one is too small, the Maat Saxophone Quartet wants to call for action against climate change. Through a musical performance with new music by young composers, together with drawings and light design, Maat wants to inspire and to show that every action counts.
